BINDER TAG CONCEPT

An NFC tag plus a printed QR and human-readable ID can connect each binder to its inventory and custody record. A tag identifies a book; it does not locate it.

Planned: private record links and a separate finder return page. Secure tags need provisioned keys and verification; a basic NFC sticker can be copied.

When a book wanders.

Pair a binder or transit case with an AirTag in your own Find My account. If it goes missing, Apple’s Share Item Location can create a temporary recovery link.
