An NFC tag plus a printed QR and human-readable ID can connect each binder to its inventory and custody record. A tag identifies a book; it does not locate it.

If it goes missing, Apple’s Share Item Location can create a temporary recovery link.

Designed around defense in depth. CyberPlane does not claim DoD certification, FedRAMP authorization, CMMC assessment or FIPS-validated cryptography. Independent security review and stronger operating controls are part of the roadmap.
New records can start with a phone camera today. Tomorrow, a supervised robot dog or rover could help capture repeatable views around the aircraft and feed the same evidence archive.
